I am jumping on the blogging bandwagon.
I grabbed the first issue of Stampington and Co., Artful Blogging, and I read it cover to cover.  I was actually looking for pictures to inspire me to start creating again.  But I read was what a fantastic community bloggers were.  Ok, now you have my curiosity up.  So, after a few of life's up and downs occured, I settled down to take a look around.
First I discovered what apparently quite a few people knew, challenge sites.  I started with Inspire Me Thursday.  And what other people said was true, you follow one link, to another, to another.... and then more challenge sites.  It is addicting.  What I found is that I wanted to participate in these challenge sites, but you needed a static site to post from.  Most people were posting from their own blogs or picture trails.  I didn't really know what a picture trail was, but I knew from reading that I could get my own blog.  And here it is.
I am not a great artist, author, philosopher, or anything else.  Just me.  This is just a place to add my voice, in written form, while I go through is process of my life, right now.
I am finishing up my first project in a long time.  It is a recycled journal for my friend Diane, who is a talented lyricist.  She and I were both going through a difficult creative time when she wrote a beautiful lyric based in part, on an e-mail conversation we had.  I promised her that she would be the second person to know when I had started to create my art again.  This is my gift to her.  I will post a picture of it soon.

Gosh, I am so sorry. I posted with my general blog ID and that isn't helpful to you at all. I'm bird when I blog about my family because I don't want them to feel like I'm putting their business out there. When it comes to my art, well, it's all me!
