I was escorted to my husband by a gentleman with whom I had been through so much with. He is a dear friend, who had been through heart failure and heart transplant. He had also been through 2 wars, serving his country proudly; escorting me to my husband in waiting, telling me that it was HIS honor to do so. I cried, and didn't stop crying until the vows were recited.
We wanted a ceremony that would be special for us, and also our friends and family; a day that would be comfortable to everyone in attendance.
We could not have asked for anything more comfortable and special.

That's lovely! Congrats :o)
Congratulations! Sounds like a lovely ceremony and Playa Del Carmen is a great place to go after - Sam & I did and are always wanting to go back! We really enjoyed the architecture of Chichen Itza and other ruins and the beautiful blue water and white beaches - forever spoiled us :) We'll never go to those mud puddles that pass for beaches in Texas again and we are dying to take the kids to the ruins! BTW, I totally miss talking to you and the others that were in Nicoles thread, but SBG is a great place to be.
