Technique Thursday

I finally have another challenge done!  I'm cheating a little, since this 4x4 was done for an ArtChix swap.  The background was a map of Paris from a 1960's encyclopedia, you find inspiration anywhere!  Thanks for peeking in!

4x4 Friday - Dymo Labels

Dymo labels, now there is a blast from the past.  I remember my father using them to label the contents of his workshop drawers.  I even have a quote from my Uncle on clear acrylic that is just strips from the label maker.

For this challenge I recycled an ATC that I made last year with my dymo.  I had to get one more challenge in before I leave on vacation.  (I'm sorry for the slightly fuzzy photo)

Crazy Amigo Challenge - Travel

I made this 4x4 after a friend of mine went home to Argentina to visit his family.  The tag in the upper right corner is the sticker that was holding shut the paper bag of goodies that he brought back with him. 

As for me, I do not get to go anywhere exotic this year, I will have to leave the dreams of seeing Italy, England, Costa Rica, and Hawaii right where they are.  However, I do get to go see my children and grandchildren in Montana, a state that I have never visited.  The kids gave me the tickets as my Mother's Day gift. 

  My kids say that there is a big rodeo in town this weekend, so I will get to see real cowboys up close and personal.
